Can I brag for a second?
I just saw the article in Newsday about the ELA test scored for Long island...and while it seems as though they changed the way the scores were calculated a little late int he game, angering many people because the students' grades dropped......
My 8th grade students scored the highest on Long Island! I am shocked because they didn't seem to be the most academic of students last year....but apparently, something worked and they did great!
I'm so happy for them!
