Can I request a new forum board???
how about a Medical Board?? that way whoever wants to discuss medical issues can have a board just for that. ok, you make fun of me if you want, carry on!

Of course you know that I will not make fun of you...with all we have shared in the background over the last twoish years.
I'll support just about anything you ask for...plus I think it's a good idea...double plus is that it would benefit me greatly.

I agree. I will probably get flamed for saying this, but one thing that annoys me about message boards in general, is that some people put too much stock in asking medical questions on them, when they should be asking their doctor.
Can't really speak for this board too much, but on another one I go to, it drives me batty because I think people use it as a replacement for the need for serious therapy. That is all. Carry on.........just the social worker in me coming out..........

Im going to agree with you 100%. People really need to keep in mind that though some people here are doctors, nurses and other professionals that could provide advice, most of us are not. I think it could possibly open up a can of worms and a bit of liability for Ron.

Also I'm not sure how that would play out on the Parenting board - most of the times it's moms asking if this is normal or how to handle something. I'd hate to see those posts get moved.
For me it would probably be just another board I wouldn't visit much.
eta.
Also would all of the infertility medical stuff, doctors referrals, drug questions be moved there?

I've thought about this, but I think LIF would hesitate because creating a medical or health board might cause legal issues...there would have to be a disclaimer.
