Can I stop using wet paper towels to clean him now?
DS is a little over a week old, when can I start using the wipes instead of wet paper towels?

I always used wipes, I even brought my own into the hospital. We used the newborn ones for a few months and now we use sensitive.

I bought the Viva papertowels that are really soft.
I think I am going to make the switch today bc the paper towels are a PIA!

Also as soon as we got home - there is no sink in the nursery to dampen the paper towels so I ditched that idea!

Yea - it def is annoying. It's a whole process. Getting the paper towels from the diaper bin, going to the bathroom to wet them, then going back to change him - all with a stinky baby in my arms lol. Wipes it is!!!

Same here. I use the sensitive - no dyes, no perfume. He has never had a rash or reaction. Actually the paper towels were too rough for his tush

My doc said wipes were okay when we brought DD home (she is 9 days old now). We are using Pampers Sensitive and there doesn't seem to be any problems.

Our doc said the same thing and he told us to use the unscented ones and recommended pampers sensitive wipes and the huggies ones.

Omg, I used Wipes as soon as we got home. I hated those darn wet things.
Did you go to the "baby seminar" thing at Winthrop after the baby was born?
The lady there teaching the class laughed and said, We are kinda forced to use the wet napkin things but trust me, DOnt use them at home....

I didn't because that was when he was getting circumsized so we missed it. LOL - looks like I'm the only fool who used them at home. Oh well.

I always used wipes, pampers sensitive wipes. Ped said as long as after we used them we patted him dry before putting the new diaper on he'd be fine. He was

I used wet wipes (Pampers sensitive wipes) right away. I was told that you can use them right away by the nurses.

Really? the one who taught the class told us to use the towel one. I did not switch yet to wipes. One ped I went to a free class to had said to wait about 1 month before using them.

I used wipes from the day I got home. In the hospital when she pooped, I called the nurses desk because I didn't see any wipes. She said are you sure? I said yeah. So she brought me more. I was like, ohhh those are in there. I didn't realize I was supposed to use those as wipes! I thought they were burp cloths
