While I think the cause is really cool, the shoes are just ughh.
I can't get into them. I see people walking around with them on and they don't even look comfortable.

I don't know.. everytime I see a pair all I think is if I had to imagine what the very first pair of shoes looked like; one that a person cut and sewed together by hand, that would be it
That's kind of the point of the design. For every pair they sell, they give a pair of shoes to a person in need and the design was based on the very simple shoes that people in rural villages wear (I think in South or Central America? I don't remember)

Ok I have to come out and say it ....
I have no idea what "Toms" you are referring to... but whenever I see this thread, I think of the all natural deodorant and toothpaste from "Toms" brand  In fact, today when I was at Harmon's and saw it, I thought of this post!!
