Can we discuss deviled eggs?

I'm on this deviled egg binge.

I make mine with this fancy garlic mustard and lemon juice. I throw in some dill, too.

How do you enjoy yours?

Re: Can we discuss deviled eggs?

I like them how my grandma makes them...very plain-yellow mustard, mayo, a little lemon and paprika on the top. I like mayo-based deviled eggs the best. But I think most people are partial to a family recipe for deviled eggs.

My family makes them two ways. Mustard/mayo, garlic powder, salt, pepper & paprika sprinkled on top. We also make them with ketchup which i like better.

Re: Can we discuss deviled eggs?

I love DE!!!!!

Traditionally I do a little mayo, vinegar, dry mustard, s&p, paprika & love it so much, that I haven't been able to try a different.

I am tempted to try substituting some of the yolk with mashed beans, so I can eat them more often.

Re: Can we discuss deviled eggs?

I recently tried a recipe from Pinterest where you substitute the mayo with avocado. If you're a fan of avocado, it was def worth it and I felt healthier eating them too!

Was it good. I've seen that. Also want to try Greek yogurt & see how it works out.

NO. Deviled eggs give me the heebie jeebies LOL...but I have egg issues to begin with! I know my mom makes very traditional deviled eggs with parsley and paprika.
