I was told no. It may cause fever to spike or fever to break too quickly for their bodies to adapt.

I was told to GIVE them a bath, to help cool them down.

ITA. DD's had a really high fever twice in the last 6 weeks. Ped stressed the importance of a lukewarm bath, not a cold bath. We literally made it really warm because we were paranoid.
