Can you share your typical day's food/exercise with me?
I'm finally starting to see a difference in my weight loss and I'm always looking for low fat, high protein, easy things to keep me on track.
Here's what I'm doing:
6:30am - large coffee with low fat half and half and equal
8:30am - two pieces of multigrain bread with low fat peanut butter. Cup of green tea, no sugar.
10:15am - work out at gym for 15 minutes
10:30am - (2) light rye wasa crackers with low fat peanut butter, no sugar preserves, three almonds, cup of green tea, no sugar.
12:00pm - chicken breast marinated in lemon juice and garlic spices, steamed asparagus and/or steamed mushrooms.
3:00pm - organic healthy valley chocolate toaster tart, cup of green tea no sugar.
5:00pm - exercise - either my salsa dancing video, or lately I've been outside doing yardwork for at least an hour.
6:30pm - ? This is where it varies. Sometimes the chicken/asparagus, sometimes more bread and peanut butter, sometimes even cereal if I'm really lazy.
I also drink at least 1 liter or 2 liters of water per day.
If you could share your schedule with me, food and exercise, I would be grateful.

Re: Can you share your typical day's food/exercise with me?
I am not going to be much help
I eat what I want- with in reason- I try to eat more protein that carbs- and I don't eat anything with mayo etc
drink tons of water
and run 3.25- 4.75 miles outside (at least 4 times a week)
what I eat isn't as important as excersise for me- I have finally realized that after all these years!

Re: Can you share your typical day's food/exercise with me?
I'm pretty regimented because I'm on a dr. designed diet to get me eating regularly (I was living on coffee and sugary snacks - it was bad).
I eat breakfast 30 minutes after I wake up and it's either:
1 egg + 3 whites and either as much spinach or asparagus as I want
1 cup low fat plain yogurt, 1/2 cup granola (low fat, try to get it under 11 grams of sugar) and a handful of dried cherries
1 cup slow cooked oats with an apple or blueberries and little agave nectar
mutli vitamin and two fish oil supplements
I eat lunch 5 hours after breakfast and dinner 6 hours after lunch. For both I have:
lean protein (4-5 ounces), a salad with oil and vinegar and other veggies (either roasted or steamed) with olive oil
between meals and before bed, i have shakes (water with 100% MR powder and muscle synthesis powder)
It's a strange diet, but I finally don't feel sick and tired all the time so I'm staying on it while the doc monitors me.
Workout: 2 dance classes per week and yoga, kickboxing and pilates each one time per week. If I miss one, I'll run or do the elliptical for 30 minutes.
I try to drink at least 80 ounces of water a day. I feel dehydrated otherwise. I pee CONSTANTLY though.

Re: Can you share your typical day's food/exercise with me?
i am doing WW core and love it. i try to purposely mix in something (not terribly high) with points to keep extra variety going but for example, here's today:
whole wheat pasta w/meatsauce (core) steamed chicken w/broccoli w/black bean sauce on side (core) 1/2 cupish lo mein to go with it (3ish points) glass of milk with a chocolate straw (core)
for dinner i will make chicken w/avocado salsa and a side of brocc w/garlic (all core).
i did a spin class today and 15 minutes of weights (arms.)
today is a good day - i'm not always this good!

Typical day for me...
Breakfast - chai tea with 1 tsp sugar and soy milk, with a homemade, lowfat, low sugar, whole wheat muffin of some sort.
Snack - fruit (banana, peach, apple, grapes, etc).
Lunch - Salad with tuna or hard boiled egg, and 2 tbsp vinagrette
Snack - Ryvita crisps with lowfat laughing cow cheese
Dinner - Grilled tilapia with whole wheat couscous and grilled veggies
Dessert - fruit (watermelon or pineapple)
My exercise, daily, is my 15 minute walk to and from the train station, and my 45 minute daily walk during my lunch hour.

Re: Can you share your typical day's food/exercise with me?
I believe with weight loss/maintaining weight it’s 90% diet (not as in being on a diet, just as in what you eat) and 10% exercise. One can eat almost anything as long as it’s in moderation. The healthier the food, the more you can eat of it. Many people think they can eat whatever they want and as much as they want if they’re exercising and that’s why often times people don’t see significant weight changes when they work out.
For me personally during the week:
6am-7:15 gym. I do approx 40 minutes of weight training and 30 minutes of cardio.
Around 8:30am – 2 egg whites on a WW English muffin
Whenever I am hungry (could be as early as 11am, could be as late as 1pm) I get a deli sandwich, usually honey turkey on WW plain. I only eat half at this time.
Between 3 and 5pm – I eat the other half of the sandwich.
6:45pm – a few times a week I run up and down the beach stairs by my house
Around 7:30pm – dinner. Usually it’s either grilled turkey or grilled chicken cut up in a salad, or a veggie burger.
I don’t really snack. I don’t eat at a time per se, I eat when I am hungry. I try not to eat processed foods or ‘bars’ or ‘shakes’ if I can help it.
I drink hot tea with real sugar in it all day because I am so cold at work all day. I use real sugar because I like it. Maybe 3 cups a day. If I am warm (rare) I’ll drink water.
Friday & Saturday nights we usually eat out and I have whatever I want – in moderation. I also work out Saturday and Sundays and go for a long hike Saturday afternoon. I usually take one weekday off from the gym. Sometimes 2 if I don’t feel like getting up.

Re: Can you share your typical day's food/exercise with me?
My typical day:
7:00 am - Fiber One original cereal with 1 c strawberries or 1/2 c strawberries and 1/2 c blueberries
10:30 - 1/2 PB sandwich (1Tbs PB, one slice of black german bread or rye or Double Fiber English Muffin)
12/12:30 - gym (run 3 miles or see personal trainer)
2:00 - lunch -- 5 oz lean meat or tuna. Salad with red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar for dressing.
4/4:30 - peach, plum, nectarine, some kind of fruit.
7:30 - 4-5 oz lean meat, one bag (or box) of Steamfresh veggies.
Sometimes I'll have a WW ice cream or popcorn (94%FF single serving bag) but that's pretty rare.
