Hmm I'm not sure you can tell from that angle.. I feel like it would be easier from an angle looking up between the legs, KWIM?

Not at all. THe legs are straight up in the air. I dont see the legs open at all.

Yeah I agree. That looks like its a profile view
Total profile view. I don't know how you would tell? I do think it's sucking its thumb though!
