CANKER SORES
I have two of them in my mouth and I am going crazy! They are so painful!!!
Does anyone know anything I can do or take to get rid of these?

I normally rinse with either listerine or peroxide, hot water and salt. then i use orajel.

I have been getting canker sores all of my life and my family used to tell me that it was because I bit my nails (bacteria). I found out a couple of years ago that they are caused by stress, excessive acid in your mouth from food or by eating too much chocolate. I also read that supposidly if you swish with mylanta (is that the one for acidy stomach?) that it will help to get rid of them. Hope this helps.

i do too!!!! ugh!
rinse w/ room tep salt water (i use ALOT of salt)... or Peroxide and water (equal parts)- the antiseptic usually kills them pretty quickly

Thanks guys! They are so painful.
I think it's from stress-I had a very stressful weel last week so that could be it.
I had a headache all day today and I think it's from these canker sores.
I am going to go and rinse with salt and warm water now.
