I would probably choose the green one even though I don't know what it is because I might have a hard time letting my kids hit a mock up of a living thing. Even if it is just a cartoon. But I am weird.

just to share a little story - I got a nemo pinata for our family reunion. some of the kids got VERY upset that other kids were taking a stick to their favorite character.
therefore, I would get #1, without a doubt.

The idea of #1 is cute, but I think #2 looks better. I think people, and even some kids who know Blue, might look at #1 and not really get it.
