Car Insurance question
Wondering if any here merged car insurance policies after they got married. i am tihnking that it would be cheaper to insure my car and DH's car on the same policy.
I havea 2000 Dodge Stratus and he has a 1997 Land Rover... both have a lot of miles but we'll drive til they die at this point.
Anyone have any recommendations before I call our insurance companies. i have GEICO, DH has State Farm.

Re: Car Insurance question
we kept our policies separate. we called both companies and mine actually turned out to be cheaper for his car, but he wanted to leave it as is

Re: Car Insurance question
Yes, it was a lot cheaper for DH to be on my policy than to have our own, even though we both had Allstate.

Re: Car Insurance question
It's called multi-car discount I would recommend it...so your or his policy turns into "our" policy
