Cat territory issue

I have 2 cats...one is 2yrs old and one is a 1yrd old. DH & I recently moved and since we have moved the 2yr old cat has been bullying the 1yr old more often. I feel so bad for the younger cat bc he cant just relax without the older one crashing his space and starting play fights. The younger one tries to find his own territory in our place and within a week the older one suddenly takes over that spot. I dont know what to do. The younger one has jsut about no territory of his own and is bullied. Has anyone else had this same situation before? Did you do anything to help the cat getting bullied?

Re: Cat territory issue

welcome to my house! my younger cat thinks she owns EVERYTHING! I think after six months things are calming down as she gets older but still.

This happens everyday in my house, except it is the younger kitty that is the bully. He takes over everything. However, we did help our older one "reclaim" the kitty condo and she has gotten a lot more "assertive." March will be a year. Here are two pictures

You cats are cute! How did you help the one reclaim some territory? I dont get it, the older one like invades any space the little one finds for his own.
