Ceiling fan in the Summer? clockwise or counterclockwise?
I forgot which way the blades should be going in the Summer?
Looking up at your CF which way are your blades going when you turn it on? Clockwise or counterclockwise?

The direction changes the way the air circulates.
Clockwise draws the cooler air up to mix with warm air that naturally rises then disperses it around the room from the ceiling to the floor.
Counter clockwise will circulate the air downward so you feel the breeze of the fan.

all fans are different...example, my fan is clockwise and blowing air down. Once you turn on the fan and stand under it, if you feel a breeze, good for summer/spring so you feel a breeze...

I'm going to look.... livingroom and bedroom are both counter clockwise and there's a nice breeze coming off of them with the windows open
