Cereal - When Did You Start Giving Twice A Day?
I know this has probably been asked a zillion times before and I really don't remember these things from 8 years ago. Emma eats oatmeal once a day. for dinner 1tbsp so far. She has been eating it for five days now. So how long do I weait before I move her up to eating it for breakfast AND dinner?

The ped told us to feed her cereal twice a day from the start.
Oh. Mine said once.
She gave me a list of what she is supposed to be eating by her 7 month appt, but it doesn't list the "in between" stuff unforunately!

I never gave cereal twice a day.
I did oatmeal and rice for breakfast for a week each, then started adding fruits (each one for 3 days to check for allergies.) Once I got through all the fruits I added the veggie at night (again each one for 3 days)

I gave it that way from the day I started cereal and then i added fruit into the cereal

Okay..so another question. How long did you do that before you added lunch?

I started solids at 4 1/2 months and I started adding lunch once I got through all stage 1 fruits and veggies and moved on the the meat/veggie combos in the jars. I think it was aroung 6 - 6 1/2 months when I was giving 3 meals + Cheerios.
ETA: (approximate ages)
Cereal only for the 1st 1 - 1 1/2 weeks (4 1/2 - ~5 months)
Cereal and fruits for about 3 weeks ( ~5 months - 5 1/2 months)
Cereal and fruit for breakfast added veggies at night for about 3 weeks (5 1/2 - 6 1/2 months - present)
At 6 - 6 1/2 months did cereal/fruit for breakfast, veggie for lunch, meat/veggie combo jar for dinner, introduced Cheerios

My ped said to start giving cereal twice a day after he starts "enjoying" it. I took that to mean, once he starts actually eating it!

My ped. said to do it twice a day right from the start.
I started adding lunch at around 6 months.

Mine too. HE said twice a day at 3 tsps a feeding 
We arent starting though for a while yet, b/c Noah doesnt eat enough Formual yet to start solids.

At 6 months we started solids and was told to do cereal 2x a day and add lunch.
