cesspool question
just wondering and it might gross all of you out but..
where does all that waste go?? you see those big tanks on the trucks and then you see a big spout on the back. do they just open it up into a giant toilet?

I "think" they bring it to a waste management center....where its seperated and the water is purified and the waste is processed. Its most likely the same place where people that have sewers their waste goes.

Sewage treatment plant. Like at Bergan Point in West Babylon. There as pp said they purify it.

They go to a wwtp (waste water treatment plant). There are several on LI - Cedar Creek, Bay Park, Bergen Point, and well as some local towns and municipalities having thier own (they are basically sewered areas).
In my line of work, I've seen it all go from start to finish
