Veuve Clicquot is always a good "standard". The Yellow Label is usually around $38 a bottle.
Or if you want to bring liquor, Vox or Ketel One vodkas are excellent.

would it would be wierd to bring a bottle of champagne and a plant/flower ?
one of my best friends...she redid her house and haven't beent there yet
want to get something special but she is so meticulous of certain things

Veuve Clicquot - Very good choice!!! It's DH and my favorite
