Change of seasons bringing on eczema flair ups
Any one else's LO go through this every time the season changes? What do you do to prevent or ease the flair ups?

Re: Change of seasons bringing on eczema flair ups
I posted about DS's allergies. Yes, he gets very bad eczema during this time. He wakes at night scratching all over. I use a special shampoo prescribed by the allergist and have to use a lotion with a steroid. Counting down the days till allergy season is over.

Change of seasons bringing on eczema flair ups
LOL yes I just posted. I put her steroid on this morning for the first time this season.
She uses California baby for baths and I slather her in aquafur after each bath as well.

Change of seasons bringing on eczema flair ups
I have it and I eat no dairy or wheat and use a ton of eucerin cream. Works like a charm

Re: Change of seasons bringing on eczema flair ups
My son had horrific eczema for most of his first two years--it took a lot of doctor visits, medicated creams, and $$ to finally get it under control. When it was gone, it was gone...until now, 1.5 years later!
He's got food allergies too, so I thought it was something he'd been eating, but now I think it's the change of seasons. Really, all I've been doing mostly is using the CeraVe cream but I have had to break out the hydrocortisone once or twice and so far, so good. It seems like it's going away recently...

Change of seasons bringing on eczema flair ups
Huh, my DD has had an eczema flare up the last few weeks and we couldn't figure out why. I never thought to attribute it to seasonal allergies (she's only 17mo, so this is only her 2nd spring).
She has a dairy allergy, so we just assumed she must've had some dairy at some point that we weren't aware of.

Change of seasons bringing on eczema flair ups
Thank you for this post. My son is 14 months and last spring his eczema was not under control. I noticed that he was having flair ups so it is nice to know that he is not alone and have some sort of reason.
