Changing from electric to gas stove...
and the plumber told us we need to have an electrician unhook the electric stove since that stove is 220v and the gas stove is only 110v. What exactly does the electrician need to do? I wasnt understanding and didnt want to keep asking, but if its going to a lower voltage then whats the issue? TIA!

It's a different outlet, and the circuit has to be changed to lower the voltage. Depending on the setup, they may need to run a new line to where the oven is.
