chicken pox shot as an adult

Has anyone gotten it as an adult. On the CDC it says that you have to wait 1 month after to try to get pregnant (they say on the package insert it says 3 months, but that it is now a month). My dr says 3 months. We are not trying now, but I was wondering if anyone knows the answer. Thanks

I had the shot and it was a nightmare for me. The idiot PCP who gave me the shot told me 3 months before I can TTC. I told her than I don't want the shot, so she decided to guilt me because she had already mixed the shot. I called my ob/gyn the next day after having the shot and she told me 1 month. This shot is given in 2 doses (I don't remember how long in between the 2 shots). I never went back for the second dosage, so now I have to do it all over again.

I would call you're ob/gyn for advice.
