Chicken Stock vs. Chicken Broth - What's the difference?
Excuse my ignorance but what is the difference. I use them interchangably all the time. I use whatever I have on hand which is whenever one or the other is on sale. Why would you use one vs. the other and is it that big of a taste difference if you use stock when a recipe calls for broth????

It's good! I generally only use stock. I usually make it but when I buy - it's stock. Broth seems to salty and it competes with the flavors I put in.
Stock is usually made using meat and bones.. broth generally uses just the meat. Bones add depth of flavor in my opinion.

To be a stock it must be made from bones. Broth is from meat, veggies, etc. Stock has more depth of flavor, but both can be used interchangablly.
