Re: Children at the RE's office
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't want my kid to see anything stuck in my who-ha!! And for all the other reasons why I won't bring my child to the RE's office, that's #1!!

There is a woman who comes to EVERY appointment with her 1 year old, lets the child walk around the waiting room the whole time AND brings her father (I assume...the child's grandfather) to EVERY appointment. She should tell her father to take the child outside.
OMG! Do you go to ECF? If so, I know EXACTLY who you are talking about!!! And I've often thought the same thing you do!
hahhaha!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Children at the RE's office
When I was at the RE's office and saw children, it gave me hope. I assume (which of course is stupid...but makes me feel better) that the child is a result of a fertility treatment. I felt/hoped that maybe i would be next to get pregnant. Seeing the kids made me smile and made the horribly long waits a little better.
There was always that feeling of "when will it be me" but i got that feeling everywhere i went. From my own family outings to going to the mall. Infertility overtook my life...i think it does to most of us. But, in the end, i was ok with them being there.
That being said, I have a healthy 2 year old. BUT, there were many miscarriages, disappointments and bumps along my road. I would like another child and I would hope that if I have to bring my DC there, that someone can find hope in him...he is my miracle and there are still plenty of miracles out there for us. I do wish everyone luck in this journey...
