and it smells sooooooooo good !!!

Just wondering what kind of meat everyone uses for their chili ???

I know most recipes I've seen call for ground beef.
I use cubed beef (london broil) and slow cook it for hours.
Growing up I never really liked chili, but years ago I had some at a bar in San Francisco where they used big chunks of tender beef and I loved it, of course with sourdough bread and ice cold beer Chat Icon

I use ground beef or turkey. I think the way you do it with cubed sirloin and no beans is a traditional southwest type.

I rarely make beef chili although I like it. I don't have a go to recipe so I guess that's why. I always make chicken chili. I roast a whole chicken and shred the meat from that.

Interesting
I never thought to use shredded chicken or chunks of turkey...I have used shredded pork added to the beef at times.
