Chipped tooth
So it looks like one of Tyler's top teeth have a split right down the middle of it. It's not really a chip since it's right down the middle.
Did anyone's DC have this?

Re: Chipped tooth
Did he fall and his mouth bled? Justin chipped his tooth and it bled a lot. It happened right around Tyler's age..maybe a few months older because he was walking and he didn't walk until 15 months.
If not then I don't have any experience with this. Sorry.

Re: Chipped tooth
I would ask your ped. if you should take him to a pediatric dentist. Is it split all the way up to the gum?

Mare, the kid falls every single day, but never where he bled (KNOCK ON WOOD!)
Crissy - it's not split all the way - the tooth just broke through about a week ago and is still coming in...looks like that's the way it broke through

It's probably just uneven then. I am sure it can happen. Ask the ped. but I wouldnt worry too much about it. It's a baby tooth anyway.

Re: Chipped tooth
This may not be the same but amelia chipped her tooth. She was about 19 months - she's 29 months now. I didn't even know she chipped it...I saw it on her the next day. There were no tears, blood or anything. I'm guessing it happened while they were playing and perhaps knocked into eachother which is normal for them.
The ped said it looks fine and that I'll have to wait for her to lose it. So she'll have it for a lonnnnnnnng time. I was upset at first but it's become "her" and I'm used to it. It hasn't changed color. She is going to the dentist next month.
