choking on pacifier????
so this morning dc was put for his morning nap. he falls asleep with is paci, we use the nuk kind. he also is teething pretty bad so everything is shoved in his mouth, i went to take a shower and started drying my hair, i then hear an erratic shreaking sound coming from monitor i run into his room, and dc has shoved the whole paci in his mouth through the back and coulld not take it out he was all red, he was fine.........but so histerical after, and i almost lost my mind he culd have gotten seriously hurt, its so scary, i think im no longer goint to have him use it. has anyone else gone through this

How scary! Someone posted about this @ 1month ago. Try using the Soothie ones from the hospital.

DD did this as well but we were all up she just shoved the back of the paci in her mouth...it happened really quickly

My Ds uses a paci at night he is 11 months never happened but I use the playtex ones! Make sure they are age appropriate or try the ones from the hospital

were do you get the soothie from the hospital??, it was such a horrible event i can't stop thinking about it...was stressing all day

Neither DC took too the pacifier but I had the soothie one when we were trying. I ordered them online but I see them in BRU now.

Wow!! Glad he is okay!!!
This is the paci that DD uses and she refused to use any other or switch the the larger size (she's 6 months)...now I'm scared.
The daycare she will start in Sept. doesn't allow nuks or any other pacifiers that are more than one piece...I guess I should start trying to get her to take the soothies...I think they sell them at BRU now...
