Christmas eve menu
I’m hosting Christmas Eve for 11 people (including kids). I’m Italian and I know it’s a big seafood holiday but I’m personally not a big seafood fan and my DH is allergic to some types so he won’t be eating any of it. I plan on having baked clams, crab cakes and stuffed flounder. What else can I make as a main course? A pasta dish with meatballs and sausage (baked ziti or stuffed shells)? I have the apps covered.
I’m also hosting Christmas day but it will only be 6 of us so I’m trying to not repeat food. I may just make a turkey breast or ham for Christmas day.
Thanks!

Christmas eve menu
Meatballs, sausage, chicken (I did franchese last year but you could do marsala or sorrentino), veal, braciole. Any baked pasta is fine or a penne vodka. You could also do an eggplant if you have any non-meat eaters (I would do parm if you're doing a pasta with ricotta, rollatini if you're doing a non-ricotta pasta).

Re: Christmas eve menu
Our Christmas Eve is a little out of the ordinary. I am Catholic and DH is Jewish. Growing up, Christmas Eve at my house was for last minute wrapping of presents, preparing the food for the next day and Midnight Mass. We were all about Christmas Day (Breakfast, Presents, Relatives, Dinner) so it was easy to start spending Christmas Eve with my in-laws and keep Christmas day for my family celebration. That being said....we have a Jewish Christmas Eve....catering in from Ben's....corned beef, pastrami, specials, potato knishes, pickles, cole slaw, beans, rye bread etc....and matzo ball soup !!!

Christmas eve menu
I'm hosting Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. About 20 people each day. For the Eve we have: crab legs, crab cakes, baked clams and mussels, then a pasta course with a fish sauce with clams, shrimp, calamari, then we have lobster tails, fried shrimp, stuffed peppers and a cold broccoli dish.
For the Day, we have antipasti platter, cheese board, shrimp cocktail then a ham and turkey with all the trimmings for dinner.

Re: Christmas eve menu
My dad makes standing rib roast and yorkshire pudding (I LOVE THIS SO MUCH). It's like our favorite meal of the year, lol.
We actually are half Italian, but no one eats seafood, so I just do ziti, meatballs, etc Christmas Day

Christmas eve menu
You can do eggplant rollatini or something special that you'd have on an occasion like this- a rib roast, beef tenderloin/wellington
