Re: Christmas/Holiday Card question
I usually buy both Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays cards, so I can send them to people for whichever holiday they celebrate.
And I like getting photo cards, whether they have just kids or just adults or pets or the whole family on them. Doesn't matter to me if they're an all-in-one or a card with a photo inserted.

Scott and I celebrate both holidays so I usually send Christmas cards to my side and holiday or Hanukkah cards to his side of the family.

Re: Christmas/Holiday Card question
I'm Jewish, and most of the people I send to are Jewish as well. I send Happy Chanukah cards to my family/Jewish friends, and Happy Holidays/Seasons Greetings cards to everyone else.
I love receiving photo cards, in any format. I can't wait until I have kids and can do that. I've gotten photo cards from my friends who don't have kids, and I've found that a little weird (like a pic of my friend and his wife in disney world).

Re: Christmas/Holiday Card question
I usully get something with a snowman and blank inside. This way I can write a little personal greeting to that specific person. I don't send out that mant so it doesnt bother me to do that.
I love the cards with pictures. It's great to see how someone has changed if they have in a year. My one friend has always done picture cards and it's the one card I look forward to each year.
After the holidays I cut the photo out and keep it on my fridge.

Re: Christmas/Holiday Card question
We also usually do a Season's Greetings phrase and then I either handwrite Merry Christmas (which is what we celebrate) or Happy Holidays for those that don't.

Re: Christmas/Holiday Card question
We celebrate Christmas, and I send out Christmas cards with pictures. If the person is of another faith, I write a little note inside acknowledging their holiday with good wishes.

Re: Christmas/Holiday Card question
I've always sent Holiday cards or ones that reference both Christian and Jewish traditions. Did this long before I even knew DH and we are an interfaith couple.
I like getting the picture cards but agree it should be kept to tweens and younger.

Re: Christmas/Holiday Card question
I usually buy a set of holiday and a set of Christmas. I sent the Christmas cards to close friends and family who I know celebrate it. This year because we live far away from most of our family and friends, we are going to send out a picture Christmas card. I will be like 8 months preggo at Christmas and everyone keeps asking for pics. We will send out the photo card that will have a Happy holidays saying.

Re: Christmas/Holiday Card question
I've done it differently every year.
One year I sent out Christmas but wrote Happy Hanukkah on it. One year we did 2 sets of cards, and last year we got a neutral card that was really pretty. I would also like to do specific interfaith cards. There are some really adorable ones out there!

Re: Christmas/Holiday Card question
I get cards from Shoprite every year. I get 6 boxes or so of XMAS cards because that's what I celebrate. I will also get 1 box of non-specific cards for friends/family who are of a different religion.

I get a combination of both Christmas and Happy Holidays/Seasons Greetings and send appropriately.
Same here!!
As for the photo cards, I like them. However, I really like the family cards best, because although I want to see the kids, I like seeing pics of my friends too, especially if I haven't seen them in a long time or never me the kids. I do not like photos of pets though.

Re: Christmas/Holiday Card question
I buy religious Christmas cards. I have one friend who is Jewish and I handwrite happy hannukah on it. She doesn't celebrate any of the holidays at all, but is touched that I think of her and send her a card.

Re: Christmas/Holiday Card question
We used to buy seperate cards for our Christian and Jewish recipients but since we will be doing pics of the kids we're gonna stick with a generic Happy Holidays theme.
I don't know what we will be doing as far as picture theme. Probably simple and understated.
