I'm on a search for all new stockings that i actually like for this christmas that can be embroidered with us and the girls names.
We're doing the same thing & decided on Mommy & Daddy (or maybe mom/dad). We saw some nice ones at Lillian vernon

The girls have Pottery Barn ones with their names; ours do not have any names on them. Can't imagine hanging up "Peter" and "Erin" OR "Mommy" and "Daddy" for some reason 
ETA...ours are different from the girls' entirely anyway, so I don't think it looks weird.

We put out first names, not everyone calls us mommy and daddy, I like it better with the first names!
