cio in the middle of the night....
I have been very successful with cio at bedtime and I am having a much tougher time in the middle of the night. My dd has woken the past five nights teething and it is so difficult to get her back to sleep. CIO is just so tough at 2 am and again at 4 am..... I am doing all that I can to not actually take her out the crib. I am curious how everyone else handles night waking? TIA

If it's the teething, have you tried giving her some motrin or teething tablets at bedtime?

I guess the tylenol is wearing off by 2am. I have not used teething tablets at all. She is not napping well right now either.... but not fussing at all during daytime hours!

Re: cio in the middle of the night....
I think the key to middle of the night wakings is to ascertain what is going on with your child that is causing them to wake. For instance, sometimes I know that my son has just stirred in the night and is making some noise because he can't put himself to sleep right away. If I think his cries sound like he might be uncomfortable, or he needs me, I go in. If you think she is in pain with her teeth, I personally wouldn't let her CIO, but if she just wants you to hold her hand, try it.
Good Luck!!!
