Citi Mini Stroller Question
I am pretty sure this is the stroller I want... I am confused though (i really am so clueless). Is this stroller ok for infants? It doesnt look like it in the pictures but the description says so! Does an infant car seat snap on? If so is a specific car sear or any car seat?
Thanks

Re: Citi Mini Stroller Question
I have a City Mini, and while I love it, I rarely, rarely use it.
I don't like the basket, it's much too small IMO.
As far as the infant seat, you can purchase the adaptor bar for it so you can use the infant seat with it. IMO, I found it to be a PIA. I mostly used the Snap and Go for the first 11 months.
When my sister moved, she stored alot of stuff at my house, one of which was her Metro Lite. I use that 99% of the time now.

Thanks... I really can not decide what stroller I want. This is the one thing that I change my mind about daily. I am set on everything else. I really just want one stroller that does it all! from infant to toddler.. and that is easy to fold up etc.

We registered and got the new 2010 city mini. they have made the basket a bit bigger but its still not huge. We have the adapter bar and the infant seat just snaps on. Hopefully we will enjoy this stroller more than you have b/c I am certainly not buying another.

It's really hard to find one stroller that is do it all. If I had to choose one of the dozens I've owned in the pass two and a half years I would choose the Peg Perego Pliko P3. It lays flat for an infant, has a tray, folds up umbrella style and has a decent basket. It's about 16lbs give or take so not too heavy. You can also click in your carseat to the P3. Mines is 7 years old and still in awesome shape and I still use it ocassionally and DD is 2.5.

I have this stroller an the bar to attach the carseat. Other than the basket which is hard to get to, I love the stroller.

Re: Citi Mini Stroller Question
Can you get a snap and go for while the baby is an infant? I have the city mini - and I LOVE it, I just never used the infant seat attachments. I do know people who have though, and they were happy with it.
If it were me, I would buy a snap and go and then the City Mini. The City Mini is better for when they are 6months+

That's all you will need then. I've had about 8 strollers since my first son, and the City Mini is by far the best.
My second son was in his infant seat until 7 months and I always used the Snap and Go. Once I transferred him to the Conv. carseat was when I started to use the City Mini.
You will be able to use the City Mini for walks and stuff beforehand though - but the Snap and Go will be the easiest for you in the beginning!

Re: Citi Mini Stroller Question
We have the City Elite, and just got the bassinet/prama to go in it for the beginning! We weren't going to order it, but figured it was better for walks in the beginning so the baby didn't have to go in the infant seat! I don't want the snap-n-go for walks to the beach and on the boardwalk, so we opted for this! I can't wait to use it!!! We also have the snap-n-go and a McClaren for later!
