city mini or snap n go
Hi all,
This is my first and i'm just starting to think about what I want on my registry. So basically I'm taking advice from friends and looking up reviews but confused on this stroller thing.
Which is better a snap n go or city mini jogger/stroller with adaptor?
Also, what the deal with pack n plays are they basically the same...or is one better then an another?
Too many options!!

Re: city mini or snap n go
Depending on what your long-term stroller choice is, I would get the snap n go for the first few months vs the infant carrier attachment on the city mini.

Re: city mini or snap n go
I used the snap in go and didn't get the adapter. I felt that the adapter was almost as much as the snap in go. My DS is 8 months and I still use the snap in go and now I use the citi mini too. I take them both and they fit in my trunk the reason is when he is awake I like for him to be in the citi mini to look around.

Ageed, the snap and go was SUPER convenient and so light and easy to carry. We used it for 8+ months!! Plus the basket under it was 100000x more accessible than that on the City Mini. The CM basket is horrible.

city mini or snap n go
I just registered for both. Im going to use the snap n go until she's out of the infant carrier and then switch to the city mini. This way, the city mini stays brand new until Im ready for it full time. I love the snap n go, its so light weight!

Re: city mini or snap n go
I have both. Reason being I heard the city mini adaptor doesn't fit exactly with the chicco infant car seats

Re: city mini or snap n go
I have the snap and go for now which is so easy to use, and the city mini for when he's bigger (no adapter)

city mini or snap n go
I used the CityMini with the adapter for the Graco infant seat (they have an adpater for the Chicco).
I only used my infant carrier for a few months and didn't see the need for a separate stroller (snap n go). no need to store extra stuff and why buy soemthign you will only use for a short period of time.

Wow thanks for the responses...it looks like most of you like the snap and go first and then the city mini later...
Is there a specific type of snap n go that you like or are they all pretty much the same? And what car seat do like it for it..I'm hearing a lot of chico and graco..

We're doing the snap and go with a chico key fit 30 and just buying the city mini without the adaptor

I love my Graco Snugride. I will be getting a 2nd one for ds. I agree with everyone. Snap and go first then city mini. The carseat on the city mini makes the stroller top heavy and it feels tipsy.

Re: city mini or snap n go
I guess I'm in the minority, but I say City Mini with adapter for sure. I walked a ton with DD and the snap and go's I've tried are not great on sidewalk or street terrain. I also hate having extra stuff around and didn't want another stroller frame taking up space, but that could have something to do with the fact that we lived in an apartment. I had the uppa baby vista with an adaptor and never even considered the snap and go seemed wasteful to me.

Same. You can get a snap and go with a 20% off coupon (I have and love the chicco version) and then it's not too far from the price of the city mini adapter which you can't use a coupon on. I got the city mini and just started using it sometimes and I like it but the basket is awful! I figured why not save the mileage on the city mini since I hope to use that for a long time once the snap and go is retired.

Re: city mini or snap n go
With my DD we had a stroller with an adopter and it was a huge pain in the neck. So this time around we are going with snap and go first few months (possibly close to a year ) and then to a stroller, most likely city mini. I hear snap and go is great !
