City Select as a double stroller and taller kids
I am starting the dreaded process of looking for a double stroller. My DD will be 21 months when I have DD#2 so I will definitely still need a stroller for both. My husband is really against the side by side strollers. He just thinks they are too wide and will be difficult to manuever in stores, etc. I will be the main one using the stroller and will need to take it out shopping, etc. He really liked the city select. I liked it as well, but am concerned about how comfy my older DD will be in it. She is tall for her age - about 33" at almost 18 months. The sales person told me he hasn't had any complaints, but I wanted to get some first hand experience from others. Do your older DCs like sitting in it? I am going to take my DD to test it out, but even if she likes it now, she is going to keep growing!
Thanks!

Try it out... I was about to purchase a Macclaren double online & when I put my 21 month DS into it, he was too broad for the stroller. YES his SHOULDERS didn't fit (he had to bend them in to squeeze into it). I've seen much older kids in it & look comfy. DD wasn't comfortable at 4 months in a lot of strollers. Just wait & test drive them later.

Thanks for sharing! I am going to wait until closer to my due date and then do a test drive :)
