Mine doesn't charge by the hour, sorry, so I can't help. She charges us a flat fee for our 1 bdrm apt. And the guy we used before her was the same.

I pay a flat fee
I have never paid by the hour
for a 3bed 2 bath - I pay $100
with an extra $20 for her to clean the lobby for my landlord

Now that my baby is crawling, I need floors cleaned 2 x a week and 2 baths wiped down.
How much do you think I shld offer. This would be for my sitter that is there already.

every two weeks.
She's done with my house in about 2 hours.
Kitchen, 2 baths, dining room, hallway, office, master bedroom and living room all the time. Every now and then the guest room and our extra room upstairs.

I agree with that. It would really depend on what you pay her now as well.
If you only pay her $100 for an example then another $50 is a big leap.
I think you probably pay her more than that to watch your little one though.

I pay my cleaning lady $80 flat fee. But I have had her for almost 4 years, and she has kept my rates the same. But I know she charges more now.
She comes every 3 weeks for DEEP cleaning.
She is here for approximately 8 hours each cleaning!!

The one I am using charges $25 an hour but they usually set how many hours they will be there so it's not a free for all on time.

I pay my cleaning lady $65 she comes every 2 weeks and is here for about 4 hours. She does my deep cleaning (i.e. scrub shower, all floors, change linnens, dust, cleans kitchen and baths, etc.). Additionally she willl do things like clean out my fridge or all 18 of my windows on a quarterly basis.

She is usually there from 9:00 - 2ish (i think, since I am at work when she is there)

$30 per hour..
She hsaid it would take 3-4 hours to clean my house. She is charging me $100. I just had a consultation with her yesterday.
