Re: clogged tear duct procedure
DD had it done when she was one years old!!!! It is more stressful waiting for them to go into the operation then the actual operation. The procedure is over so quickly and they bounce back so well. Good Luck tomorrow! If you have any questions feel free to ask me.

Re: clogged tear duct procedure
My son had this done when he was 18 mos. The worst part was watching them put him under. We were waiting about 30-40 minutes in the waiting room and then we went back to see him in recovery. They were trying to give him pedialyte in a bottle, but he didn't use bottles anymore so wouldn't take it. We went home about half an hour later, were at the hospital maybe a total of 3 hrs. When we got home he ate breakfast then took a nap and then was himself the rest of the day - but without the eye gunk! His eye has been perfect ever since.

Re: clogged tear duct procedure
DS had it done twice b/c the first procedure didn't clear it 100%. Like pp said, watching him go under was the worst part. It was literally 15/20 minutes of a procedure! Good luck!
