coming over from pregnancy board to ask a question

Does anyone get the magazine Family Fun? My DH just subscribed to it for us. IT was $55 for 30 issues, we are sorta broke right now, so I wanted to see if it would be worth it, or should I cancel it now? TIA

My mother gets it and gives it to us. She got it using some reward points from something. I think it is a good magazine with good ideas, but not for babies...older kids and toddlers. I find myself saying that I want to remember these things for when she is older.

Don't subscribe. I don't subscribe to any mags because for many I can get the equivalent online for free (well the monthly cost of internet!!) without having to shell out more $$$. Also many libraries have magazines and such for FREE. Lastly, these are things to you can drop a hint to receive as gifts ;).

i thinkit is a good magazine but like a pp said, its for older children. Like toddler age. What I do with my parenting magazine, if I see something that can be useful for when DD is older, I rip it out and file it away. I have folders marked developmental, games, good ideas, this way I can reference them when she is older

Thanks ladies. I think I am going to cancel until my baby boy is older and we have some extra money.
