I'm coming back to this board soon...
Well, sadly, I found out today that I will be having a miscarriage. I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks and all looked perfect; heartbeat, everything. I spotted light pink last week, just lasted one time,went away. I assumed it was implantation. Last night, wiped really light pink; again, went away. I just called the dr for the heck of it and she said if I wanted I could get a sono just to put my mind at rest. Well, no heartbeat. I am in a state of shock. After seeing one less than two weeks ago, there is none today. Part of me thinks this is a mistake, but I truly know it is a lost pregnancy. I never felt so upset in my life.
I hope some of you who have been through this can provide some insight into what happens next. The dr is suggesting a D & C. I have not bled yet, but am sure will soon. Of course everyone around me is pregnant and I wonder if I'll ever get pregnant again.Thanks for listening.

I'm terribly sorry - it just absolutely s u c k s. Please FM me if you need to talk. And please consider your options - if you should decide to wait out a natural miscarriage - that's a personal decision. I went at 8wks and there was no heartbeat. I initially thought I wanted to do it naturally but then scheduled the D&C because I wanted to put it behind me. They couldn't see me for the D&C for one week after that and in that time I miscarried naturally. Although it was emotionally difficult, physically it wasn't that bad.

My thoughts are with you. I lost a pregnancy in February at 8 weeks. It $ucks and virtually nothing anyone can do or say will make this better for awhile.
The emotional part is the toughest, but you WILL get through it. Time is what helped me the most and, yes, I know that sounds like a cliche'.
About the pregnant friends... my 4 best friends are all having babies (girls) this year... February, June, August and November. I work with two of them and their bellies are in front of me all the time. My neighbors next door and across the street were pg and had a newborn when I lost mine. It makes it harder to heal when you can't escape.

Thanks everyone. This is probably the hardest thing I've ever dealt with in my life. I know people have gone through it and have gone on to have successful pregnancies. I just have to have faith I guess.
