computer chair on hardwood floor??
What do you put under your computer chair that's on wheels on a hardwood floor to prevent damage?? I know we can't put the plastic office mats down and am confused as to whether we need something and if so what to put down.... please help us finish our office! :)

Re: computer chair on hardwood floor??
We put down a small area rug that covers the area under our chairs.

Re: computer chair on hardwood floor??
We will soon have to address this. I don't know how it would look, but this an option (although, maybe it's intended more for over carpet?). Just an idea ...

Re: computer chair on hardwood floor??
Those cant go on the hardwood floor because they have the spikes on the other side that stick it into carpet... it would ruin the floors :(

Re: computer chair on hardwood floor??
According to DH, you can get a computer chair mat that DOESN'T have the spikes on the back. He says that he's seen then with felt on the back...maybe check Staples or Office Max?
ETA: DH is a computer technician...not just some random weirdo that knows a lot about computer mats.

Re: computer chair on hardwood floor??
You can get a matt that does not have spikes. They even make them look like hardwood!
