Congestion- What did you take or do?
I have been congested for over a week now. I can't take it anymore. I can't breathe through my nose and my throat is clogged. I hardly sleep and wake up choking. I sound terrible but feel generally okay.
What can I take or do? I'm 32 weeks.

Ask your doctor, I don't think there are any decongestants we can take :/

I'm pretty sure my OB said sudafed is okay but I would call and check first.

I only use saline spray for congestion when I'm pregnant.

This is what I was told. I took saline sprays, gargled with salt water and kept close to a humidifier. I also upped my vitamin C. I avoided any meds for as long as I could.

Thanks ladies! I really don't wanna take anything unless I have to but its been a rough week and a half. Not sleeping and then going to work is taking a toll on me. I just got back from CVS and the Pharmacist said theres not much you can but you can use saline spray but it won't help much....um okay great. I am using the humidifier now so hopefully it helps. I just wanna breathe!

I don't know, if you find anything let me know because regular Claritan isn't cutting it. Which is what my OB said I can take, because it's safer then getting my bi-annual sinus infection.
Humidifier helps, but not solving it either.
