Contractor Question

When someone refers a contractor to you, would the contractor give that person a referral fee (i.e. a credit towards additional work on their hosue)? I got a referral from a neighbor, who is now kinda pushing me to use that contractor, and I was wondering if my neighbor had some kind of financial incentive.

Possible..vendor would never disclose that of course. For one, its your choice how you want to do work for you. Don't feel pressured by a neighbor because of some credit.
