Convertible Car Seat recommendation for 2nd Car
I need something that is somewhat easy to install, inexpensive, not bulky and sturdy. We have a Britax Marathon in my car but need a second one for DH's car. The one for the second car will be used at most 3 hours a week - to drop off and pick up DH from daycare when its DH's turn to take DS and for a family vacation that we are going on next month (out of the country). Any recommendations?

we got a second Britax as a gift for DH's car, but my parents have the Evenflo Triumph and his have the Graco Comfortsport. Both are much cheaper than Britax and got great reviews on Babies R Us and Baby Bargains.

LOVE the Graco Comfortsport. Great seat, easy to install and runs about $70-$100 at Target

Re: Convertible Car Seat recommendation for 2nd Car
We just got the Evenflo Titan Sport at Sears for my sister's car. We paid about $81 with tax. It got a B+ in Baby Bargains the ones that got A's were mostly Britax and though we will have one of those for our car when Abby is ready, it didnt make sense for us to spend that much on a seat that MIGHT be used a few times a year.

Re: Convertible Car Seat recommendation for 2nd Car
Since it only takes a second to be in an accident, we bought the best seats we could for both vehicles, even though DD is rarely in my truck, and DS is only in it once a week.
Since I can't predict when an accident may happen, I will buy the safest one I can find.

that's what we did for DH's car and my mom's car. my thinking was that even if he's in DH's car for an hour a week, it only takes a moment to get in an accident, and it can happen on your own street.
so all 3 cars have what we consider to be the safest seat, regardless of price. they are all britax.

We also have the graco comfort sport in my moms car. Its great!!
Doesnt take up much room but so roomy for her. Has great ratings and I am very happy with it. Got it at target for about 75 I think.
