Cookbook RAVE for Moms! - UPDATED - she has a new book!!
I've never been a great cook and I am literally void of ideas half the time so I stocked up on cookbooks to experiment with while I'm on maternity leave- and one of them never fails me.
It's called the Six o'clock Scramble. Most meals are 30 minutes and under to make and they're really GOOD! Some of the meals are my favorite ever to make. I seriously have a good 6 recipes from there constantly on rotation. They're sooo easy and just really yummy!!
So since you ladies are always willing to help my whiny arse out, I figured I'd throw this out there, hoping it might help others starved for recipe ideas.

Here are my faves:
*Fiesta Chicken and rice (DH especially loves this, it's chicken covered in salsa, with saffron rice)
*Farfalle with feta, pine nuts and tomatoes (had this last night...I could eat this every week!)
*Pan seared pork loins (or turkey cutlets) with green beans - we had it with turkey and I was surprised how good it was!
*Farfalle with mushrooms and peas
*Sesame noodles with peas (mmmm soo good!)
*Mediterranean chicken with tomatoes and olives (was surprised how much I liked it!)
*Curly noodle delight (sooooooo easy!)
*Penne with smoked sausage and peppers (YUM! I was actually inspired to write this post when I saw the leftovers of this in the fridge, and thinking about last night's dinner!  )
*Asian Turkey Burgers - we make this all the time
*Terrific Tortilla Tower- I loved it but DH isn't as into it.
*Lemon-herbed Chicken Tenderloins - really good!!
*Warm Chicken Salad with Mixed Greens- YUMMY - I love any salad that adds cheese and corn and cranberries!!
*Chicken Dijon- I love it cuz it's soooo easy but it's not DH's thing
There's still a whole bunch I haven't tried yet...gotta work on the steak recipes one of these days but steak is not my forte.

UPDATE!!! I'm so excited- she has a new book and I just got it! Will update you as to what my favorites are.
I can't tell you how much this cookbook has saved me! I hope it helps some of you!
SOS! The Six O'Clock Scramble to the Rescue
Just tried the Chicken Marsala...yum! This is the best version of marsala I've made!!

I LOVE this book! I don't really cook, but DH does. He has been using this a lot since we've had DS.
