hmmmmmmmmmmm - Tara - you have to let me know about some of the other recipes. dave & i are not exactly 'adventerous' with food. our idea of fine dining is a good burger & spaghetti!

Jess, we're not adventurous either- Brett is a total PITA to cook for.  It is seriously the best cookbook ever!
So happy this thread continues to help people! I used to DESPISE cooking...or even thinking about cooking for the week. It gave me total anxiety. Now I actually look forward to it...this book has SAVED me! Now remember- I was clueless to begin with, so those of you that are champs in the kitchen, you might see this book and think, 'whatever'.

ETA: Since I'm rather impulsive , I had to order now. So I went with the newer one! Lots of rave reviews on Amazon (like the first one)!

I would've said the first, just because I'm more familiar with it. I've only tried 2 recipes from the new one. The first was eh, second was awesome and I have more to go! You can't go wrong with her cookbooks!

could you tell me which ones you like from the new book? I've only tried the rigatoni with roasted peppers and the chicken marsala. Thanks!
