corned beef in crockpot?
Has anyone cooked a corned beef in the crockpot? I found a Sandra Lee recipe for it and was planning on trying it but I am having company and I don't want to ruin it. Should I try or just play it safe and cook it on the stovetop?

Re: corned beef in crockpot?
i made it for St. Pattys day in the crockpot & it was delicious! DH & I had never had it like that before, but we both agreed thats how we'll cook it from now on.
ETA: btw: our recipe didnt call for beer...i know lots of people who do put beer in the crockpot corned beef.
