Cost of injectibles/coverage question
Hi ladies...I just spoke with my insurance company and it turns out that they cover "ovulation induction with oral and injectible meds." So my injectibles are covered, thank goodness. But how much can I expect to pay for them...just the regular co-pay cost or are they more expensive? I know they don't carry them at most pharmacies. Thanks.
ETA he is starting me on the basic FSH injectibles, Follistim or something similar I guess. Just for ovulation induction. My HCG shots are covered and that's a $10 copay.

I just had to pay the co pay, either for generic or name brand-whatever it is for your insurance.

Your Re should assist you with where to get them, what pharmacies in your area....and I would call the insurance company as well and ask them specifically what to do so your 100% covered.
Each company is gonna be different.

My doctor's office just called them into Caremark, who does my mail order prescriptions. I agree with Donna, let them tell you where to get them from.
Good luck!
