Cough medicine for a 2 year old?
Is there such a thing? A friend of a friend SWEARS by Delsym (Is that how it's spelled?) and this friend also got a prescription cough medicine for her DD that is the same age as my DS.
My DH was hospitalized while we were on vacation and DS and I picked up the flu. We have mainly recovered, except for this damn cough that keeps us up at night. I take cough drops and a suppressant.
But what can a 2 year old do other a humidifier?

I slather Vicks on the soles of my dc feet, put on socks and run a cool air humidifier. You can also try a Tbl of honey.

I have given miki cough syrup on occasion with the ok of my Ped
as long as you use it according to the directions, it is fine, IMHO

my pedgives DD a mixed prescription compound that helps with her cough and keep the cough out of her chest- maybe you can ask your ped?

My ped gave me a prescription for cough syrup about a month or so ago.

Dont quote me on this but I think they may have to be 6 for cough syrup. I wouldn't chance it if that was the case.
I would talk to your ped and see what they say.

same here, Ella was given a script for a cough medicine compound last week from the ped (though she's 3).
