CRASHING...How long after coming off BCP did you get pregnant?
I'm SO sorry if this has been asked before...someone asked it on the TTC board and was hoping she would ask it here but hasn't yet and I'm interested to see what you girls have to say...
So how long after coming off BCP did you get pregnant?

I think everyone is different. My friend stopped to try for baby #2 and she got pregnant that month to her surprise. I know it took me about 4 months with dd. I think it depends on how long it takes your body to ovulate and of course timing. IMO, I think the less stress you put your body under trying the easier it is too. Good Luck!

Around 3 years. But we didn't start trying until I was off for 2 1/2 years.

3 freaking days!!!! Obviously, you can ovulate much sooner than expected when changing hormones.

1 year, but we weren't "trying" so to speak (no opks or anything - just having sex)

I posted a similar question, I went off BCP and still at cd 15 no surge on my OPK (started testing on cd 9) I'm wondering if I ovulated already? Like clock work I get that surge on cd 9-10.
OPthis is the first month I am TTC as well, and stopped the pill a few weeks ago. Obviously I have no idea what is going on

You may have done it early too. I avoided my husband like the plague during the time of my cycle (had it remained the same. I was stupid and didn't know.). They only time we BD was just a few days after my last pill. Granted, the sperm can live days longer, but still not close to the middle of my cycle. Voila! I had a surprise BFP!

Absolutely. Just like getting pregnant normally too. You just never know.

My BC ended in March and it was a fly by the seat of your pants kind of thing. I didn't get pregnant until December.

I got pg over 1.5 years after coming off BCPs. But we had some unexpected IF issues we had to deal with.

It took me 60 days to get my first AF after BCP. I got pregnant the next cycle.

I went off bcp at the end of April. It took me 45 days to get af (so the beginning of June). Got pg beginning of July.

With DS...3 months, with DD...4 months. This pg was after 1 year of being off birth control but we doing whatever happens, happens. I think that everyone is different.
