Creepy story... makes you believe in the afterlife
My friends grandmother just passed away, so they went OOT to the funeral. It was the first funeral for her two kids (4 1/2 and 2 1/2). They didn't realize it would be open casket. Well the little one kept asking "who that lady in there? why is she sleeping?" so they try explaining death to them.
Later on as their leaving, he says again "Who that lady and who is that girl behind her?" My friends looked and no one was behind the casket. He just kept asking who the other girl was standing by the box.... 
Gave me chills.

i believe that.. happened to me when i was 15 but with a dog, actually. i was at a friend's house and we went to her neighbor's home across the street to use her pool. as we were leaving her neighbor's hoe, i got out of the pool first, and walked past a sliding glass door adjoining the kitchen and saw 4 dogs. i said to my friend, oh kris (the neighbor) has 4 dogs, and she said yes. then a few minutes later as we were walking back to my friend's house she said, oh, wait, kris only has three dogs, her german shepherd passed away last month...
and the german shepherd was the first dog i had noticed in the kitchen, sitting next to the three other dogs (who were standing).
only ghost i ever saw but i definitely believe in the afterlife now!!

My daughter was only 3 at my grandpa's funeral last year... I'm drawing a blank on the specifics of what happened, but I remember that she "saw" my grandpa standing with my dad (it was my dad's father who had passed). It freaked us out, but in a good way.

I totally believe it.
Years after my husband's grandfather died his nieces were having a conversation with a "nice man" in the living room.
Of course no one was there so we simply dismissed it as an imaginary friend until they described him and the discription was my husband's grandfather to the T. They had NEVER met the man, they weren't even born yet when he died and at the time they were about 3 years old so I don't even think they'd ever really seen a picture of him.
It was CREEPY!!!

I do believe that kids and animals can sense / see these things.
I also believe that certain people sense stuff and others do not, which is why some believe and others don't!

My BIL's grandmother just passed and they called her Mimo. The day she died my nephew(3 1/2 yrs old) asked where's Mimo. My SIL said in the hospital. My nephew said no she's not she's here, downstairs. Lots of other things have happened too.

This same thing happened with my cousin when he was about 3 (he's 8 now). He was telling his mother and father (my aunt and uncle) about the big man in his bedroom at night that talks to him. When we asked him to describe the man, he described my grandfather to a "T" down to the Cigar in his mouth! My grandfather had been gone 16 years at that point.
