have you seen them in person? i really liked number one, but wasn't too sure about it's quality when i saw it on a model at BBB. then again it looked like an old, worn model so maybe it was just the store's neglect factoring in...

ETA: i like the design of #1 more.

No I have not seen either one.. But the price difference it enormous..

#1 99.00 for 6pc's
#2 770.00 for 4 pc's

I am haveing it made no matter what but I am going to duplicate.. KWIM? Maybe I can have #1 made with a better fabric.. It just seems summery to me #1.. #2 would be also with different fabric's but that style.. as well..I am so undecided.. The girl who is doing this for me is sending me fabrics now so I will see when they get here what I should do..

Since I know you want something elegent I like that look of #2 but I don't like the fabric or all those ruffles. I think you can find something nicer. #1 is really pretty but it doesn't sound like you are in love with it.

What color are you painting the room? In your topic is says red room, so are you putting red accidents or are painting the room red? If you are thinking of painting it red I would advise against it. I painted my room a cranberry color when I was 15 and I HATED it. I never felt relaxed in their and I was ALWAYS hungry in their. It was to stimulating so I don't know if I would paint a whole room that color for an infant. I hope I didn't offend you.

I still think #1 is perfect!

To me #2 is not at all for a baby. It looks like it is for a formal adult bedroom but just shrunken down IMHO.

OMG I am not offended in the least! My DH friggin insisted on this color.. Its called deep rose by BM.. Its already painted.. I hope my daughter doesnt get over stimulated in there.. I plan on putting her in there at 6mos. He will never let me change it.. I actually like it.. But I also was concerned about over stimulation.. I didnt think this would be so bad.. One wall is 2 shdes lighter stripes.. I hope the white rug and furniture offf set the boldness.. I am going for elegant not babyish.. Dh is up my A$$ w/this room.. I want to kill him sometimes.. way too involved! Chat Icon

I LOVE choice #1. Choice #2 looks like something you would see an old lady's guest room, not a baby's room.. JMO.

They're both such totally different looks. If you want "kid, whimsical" then #1. If you want "sophisticated" then #2. If you want to meet somewhere in the middle, how about a red toile?

I like them both -- you just have to decide what kind of look you're going for. I sort of think that with stripes in the room, it would look better with #1.
