Crib guards to prevent teething
We have a convertible crib. DD is trying to chew her way out of her crib these days. We have the teething guards on the front, but what can we use on the 2 "sides", the wider parts of the crib? I've looked into the gummy guards but apparently they pull the finish off?
A FB friend recommended an ace bandage- is something simple the best way to go? What have you used?
Thanks for your help :)

You could take a flat bed sheet...for a twin sized bed and wrap it throught the slates over the rails and tie down on the sides. This way she can gnaw on the fabric and it can be colorful enough to not look so out of place.

Re: Crib guards to prevent teething
I've given up on that... it's not bad yet though b/c DD still only has 2 teeth and she's never really in her crib long enough awake to do much damage. An ace bandage is a good idea though, i'd try that.

they sell cloth crib rail covers at BBB. i found out about them way too late though, the bite marks on the crib rails resemble a prisoner's tally marks, damaged all over!

Re: Crib guards to prevent teething
bump for picture of DD's damage... I'm going to try the ace bandage first and then move onto the sheet if I have to. I have no clue how she managed to do what she did. Unreal...
this is what 4 SHARP bottom teeth and 2 top teeth do to a crib

This is what I have, but see those bare sides? I think that's what she's talking about...
