Crib Mattress Pad - Yay or Nay?
Are you supposed to use one?
I registered for a waterproof one, but I think I recently read that it's not good for the baby....
Any advice?

I decided to just use a fitted sheet and also use those ultimate crib sheets that some have mentioned on here. I was also considering getting a waterproof cover for the mattress though. Is that the mattress pad? Now I've confused myself.  Sorry. Guess I wasn't that helpful.

i also got the Ultimate Crib Sheet
I didn't buy the ultimate crib sheet yet, but I was planning too. Does that protect the mattress enough or do you also need to use something to waterproof it?

Heres what I got off of Targets web description of it:

The polyester/cotton fabric holds up to 4 cups of liquid should Baby have an accident, and when soiled, the sheet can be popped in the washing machine.
