Crossbody vs. shoulder bag -wwyd?
Would you get a designer crossbody (like LV, Gucci, Fendi etc) or a shoulder bag? I really want a crossbody but am afraid that the crossbody is just a trend and should spend the $ on a shoulder bag that I could use for years. WWYD?

I have a crossbody Prada messenger bag that I've used for YEARS and it still looks brand new. All my other bags are shoulder bags though, and that's really what I prefer as an everyday bag. I think it's really all about preference.

There are a lot of styles out right now that have both the crossbody strap and handles. That may be an option for you.

I don't think a crossbody is a trend that will go out of style, but it really depends on what you like and what you will use. I made the mistake of buying an LV crossbody (really more of a messenger style bag) years ago and really regretted it. There was nothing wrong with the bag itself, it just really wasn't my style (I'm more of a satchel girl). I hardly ever used it and wound up giving it to my mom to use for work.
